Inside Sources: Fukushima crisis “actually far worse than anyone acknowledged… information withheld to prevent panic” – Professor: “Level of radiation was far worse than Navy officers anticipated” – US gov’t shredded documents for 4 days while drawing up plans to evacuate Japan — “Somebody was obviously very worried”

« Expert: No one in world has ever dealt with something like WIPP disaster — Continuous release of radioactive material ’24/7′ to environment — Nobody knows when leaking will end — It’s a ‘major failure’ for so many people to be exposed — Gov’t yet to say if dump will open again (AUDIO) Reports: Sea stars decimated on West Coast — SoCal ravaged as mystery disease spreads south; Saw hundreds last year, now none… got hit really hard — Mortality event like this never before documented — “Uncharted waters… likes of which we haven’t seen” — Turning to ‘bacterial goop’ (RADIO) »

Japan Times, Jeff Kingston of Temple Univ., Apr. 4, 2014: Kyle Cleveland, my colleague [...] recently published a report […] a critical, but nuanced picture of a crisis that was closer to careening out of control than is generally acknowledged. […] Naval officers […] discovered the level of radiation was far worse than they anticipated. Radiation gauges on the [USS Reagan] measured levels of radiation at 100 nautical miles off the coast that were 30 times greater than normal. [Sailors report] significant health problems due to exposure to radiation […] Cleveland finds that there was considerable disagreement between various U.S. agencies about the severity of the risk […] Given that the U.S. government expanded the exclusionary zone in Fukushima to 80 km and developed contingency plans for a massive evacuation while shredding of documents continued for four days at the U.S. Embassy and military bases in Japan, somebody was obviously very worried. […] Some of his insider sources tell him that the crisis was actually far worse than anyone acknowledged at the time and that information was withheld to prevent a panic. Cleveland concludes that Japan’s nuclear reactors should not be restarted.

Re: Inside Sources: Fukushima crisis “actually far worse than anyone acknowledged… information withheld to prevent panic”
The fact that true info has been withheld surprises NO ONE. The level of danger to the entire world is beyond comprehension for most citizens. Japan does not seem to care in the least about the probability of killing of millions. In fact, this almost seems like a continuation of Japans attempt to destroy or dominate the world that was begun (and we thought ended) back in the 1940’s.

Now it would seem that the Japanese officialdom has developed a new passive/aggressive mode of attack. Yes, it will wipe out 1/3 to 1/2 of their islands population. But it will also kill more than 1/2 of the US population in the process. Oh, the deaths won’t be instant. It will take five to ten years before we see the fullest effects of the release of radiation on the innocents in Hawaii and the West Coast of the US. But see it we shall!

The Japanese government with their lying, face-saving posturing, and denial have earned themselves nothing short of utter destruction. The US should demand the right to put together a multi-national consortium of experts and immediately begin the process of entombing the reactors that are still spewing out their poison into the Pacific and into the Jet stream for delivery eventually to US shores.

If this attempt is blocked in any way, then the US and the other nations should band together and removed the current Japanese government and replace them with a tribunal and make Japan a protectorate of the US until such time as the crisis is fully addressed and the danger has been averted - if indeed it can be.

the sad thing is.. right from the first one blowing?.. they knew they could do nothing, not them, not anyone.. when you can't get people near it to retrofit without dying? what can you do?.. they could have sacrificed (like chernobyl), certain people... but this was never the case...

sigh*

been saying it all along, three years of work... this is the doom we never expected, and it is damn good... :(

so how many people have actually died from this so far? does it take that long? shouldn't half of Japan be dead if this really is "the greatest crime in history"?

Where are the results of studies being conducted on these fish?

Its not a difficult protocol

Mere digestion of fish tissues and run through a scintillation counter

Is anyone doing this on the west coast?

AC from Can?

First, it depends on who you talk to....

Second, there is no real testing.... I'm on about 20 global committees that do testing... and there is nothing substantiated....

Third, common sense says no if yer on the West Coast as a precausion... that is all I can give you, I'm not TEPCO so I have no reason to lie... but the round up of resources and people, outside the gubernmint has been slow... we can only call it as we see it.

Last, I am Alumni and researcher, but can't disclose... but I suggest fresh seafood only, until we get some hard and fast data, don't believe any government source...

Do you know any non-government related people who have used geiger counters along the western coasts? Im just wondering if they would get high readings on solid materials yet? I used to use a cheap one for rock hounding because I lived near one of the largest natural uranium deposits in the world and finding uranium was quite easy.
