BUT flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. 5And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast you slay.

I will demand an accounting from every living creature; and from each man I will demand an accounting for the life of his brother. 6 Anyone shedding man’s blood, by man will his own blood be shed,+ for in God’s image He made man." Verse 4: Taken IN context he's saying DON'T EAT THE BLOOD. Verse 5: Taken IN context he's saying, if anything kills a man, God will demand an accounting for it and if anyone sheds a mans blood the entity that does that, owes its Life as debt.
