Genesis 9:4
But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. (i.e., don't eat the blood)

Genesis 9:5
And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man.

Because we ate from the Tree of Life. The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil was made up and wouldn't make sense anyway. The only thing that makes sense in the story is that God said, "hey, look, it's paradise. You can pick anything you want for your dinner. Just don't eat that nice bunny rabbit over there. He's alive, and he's my creation too and if you kill him and eat him, you'll be bringing horror, pain and death into my nice little paradise here. Eat anything else you want but the living, breathing animals--or the Fruit of the Tree of Life.

Because meat was the forbidden fruit. God won't damn us for eating it. But we will die from it because we are taking death into our bodies. I haven't gotten weak or turned into a pussy. I'm jogging/walking 4-6 miles a day now. My liver spots are disappearing. I'm aging backwards and I'm old. My periods even started again. I was officially in menopause for three years. I've been regular for over a year now and my FSH is normal.

If I could go back in time, I'd slap that steak out of my hand. I had no idea life could be like this. I feel so good now. What would I have felt like had I never eaten animal products? Would I have lived way longer? Would I have less damage now? I've reversed so much damage in just a year and a half after a life time of eating dead animals from fast food places like some sort of a zombie, but I think my life may still be forfeit, according to this particular scripture-just not my soul. I didn't know. I didn't know better. But I guess I could have read it when I was young. :( Still, the rest of my life will be better.
