Currently seeking staff to help run a very broken Ark in a solar system configuration to continue with seeding efforts across the universe. Immediate Secondary statement of work objectives: help settle people down as they make the transition of being stuck in a blackhole for a very long time (approx: 2 million years) to being out in real space.

At this time there are approximately 45 billion life forms in the Ark ready for transplantation to new worlds. The entire vessel, our 'solar system', is severely busted up. Being stuck in a black hole and getting slammed by anything passing by has taken it's toll, which means we have to stop for repairs.

The good, the bad and the weird components for everyone here:

- Doesn't matter who you are,
- What rock you are from,
- Dimension you are from,
- or if you are in orbit waiting to land.

This message is for everyone -

Bad news:

- There is no one home from original departure and gathered information,

As in the entire region of space we all came from is just empty. Check your scopes and take note that being in an event horizon really screws with perspective. Everything known happened 2 million years ago. Once outside though, time catches up really quickly and there are a tonne of newer stars I've never seen nor do the systems on board the command deck of earth.

- Most of the antenna functions are broken,

Still wondering if it can be fixed, since some idiot blew up all the operational training stuff in the fifth planet I doubt anyone here would have a the slightest clue to start with.

- The planetoids in the outer rings are inhabited, but no one seems to know this is a ship or how to fly it. Don't even recall there being staff or passengers in them, oh well, they are here now not much they can do about it anyways.

- Earth is a radioactive shit hole thats packed beyond capacity.

You idiots. Nukes...again? Whatever. Not too worried about the original passengers here. The originals have nuked themselves over time enough they've got resistance built up.

The people made in vats though, they are going to end up dying off though, like all those cloned pigs in China. Not sure how I feel about that. So first planet we find that has what they need, we get all the clones off world so they don't die from radiation poisoning and/or go sterile.

Good news:

- We aren't all dead
- There is some basic technology here and a shittonne of processes to do day to day stuff,
- We've picked up some passengers that were also stuck in the event horizon that have been helping out (thx guys)


General Weirdness:

- I'm hoping some of you wake up now that we are out of the hole, with the knowledge you are supposed to have.

Since all the original passengers and the handful of staff are all completely insane/stuck in a loop of religious nonsense and power politics that just doesn't matter. Means we going to have to wait a little longer for people wake up.

- Need a bunch more pilots

Since the original ones are all incredibly overcooked. I've been up for three years getting this tub out of the event horizon in inches.

My guess is the bunch of you savages have murdered them while I was out. Or I'm very early. Either way, doesn't matter. I am making more. 400 million of you across all speices.

Then you are being assigned to crew duty randomly across the solar system. If your bosses don't like it. Then they will be changed and assigned duties.

It takes a LOT of people to run a ship this size, good thing you've all been so busy chasing each other around. Both in terms of filling job holes and seeds to spread of all shapes, sizes and job titles.

If this bothers anyone. Don't care. This is an ark and you are all seeds to be spread around the universe to life to where their is none. That's the business at hand. Your big presentation or amazing car doesn't mean a hell of a lot if you are called to go. Don't want to? Again, don't care. Religious complaints? Don't care. Bad back? Chiropractor then don't care.

What does this mean socially?

Means whatever you are doing right now doesn't matter that much. If we find a world and your name is picked, you are going. Can't stay here, you must disembark to the world you are being placed on with your community. First chance for a habitable world, it's going to be time for a bunch of you to go start somewhere else.

It was cute that you guys were planning on invading Mars and all, but if it happened like the last 7 time loops in the event horizon, it doesn't go well. So belay the disembarkation for when it will matter later.

What is it like seeding a world?

Ever play sim city, guess what? That's your future except it doesn't do it by mouse click. So use all the completed designs that are fast, durable, small, low cost energy wise...that you think would be comfortable. It takes at least a generation of 20 years to get a seed colony going.

Once we drop some people off, with gear and supplies we hang around for a year to make sure things are settling/okay and move on to the next spot where ever that is. Why? Things change over 2 million years and we don't have any maps that mean anything to the current situation on our current heading.

Where are we and what is our current heading?

Lost in space. Literally, no clue and with most of the ship busted up plus the populations half crazy...well, it's going to be a confusing time for everyone.

I am not 'that guy' or 'the other guy', btw, I'm just a pilot that's been woken up for emergency purposes to tow this entire system out of the ditch and put it back on the road.

All the religious marketing stuff going on, barking up the wrong tree from all angles. It's not that I don't want to pick a side btw, it's because I know it's all nonsense and it appears to be cheaper than drugging people into submission while this gets sorted out.

Repairs:

There is a requirement to make a pit stop for repairs and supplies for a couple of the other worlds. We'll be floating by a spot that doesn't seem to have anything living there, but never know. It's always best to knock on the door first.

In the meanwhile I've been running around and trying to make sure earth doesn't fall a part literally from poorly done planetary maintance, both inside and outside. Plus there were a tonne of poorly thought out human engineering projects that have messed stuff up.

No big deal, it'll just have to get fixed once someone wakes up that actually knows how to do it. Speaking of which, where the hell is the galley crew? Why aren't they up top side?

Any case. Here we are, 2 million years off scheduel. No one's home world is responding, not even the ones that hitched a lift can contact home now. No other seeding Arks have replied. We are all there is right now with a handful of small civilzations that came over to help out. It is literally just us out here as a tiny speck of matter in space with no backup found.
