Snowden is not only a hero to the US population, but to people all over the world. Civilians world wide recognize Snowden as a true American hero, but there seem to be a small group of Americans hating him. I guess the haters are the US power elite, and their paid shills.

Snowden could have lived a very comfortable life as a computer professional in the US, but he sacrificed that life to help others understand how tyrannical and bat shit crazy the US rulers are.
