I agree that there should have been more training involved. Taught at home and in school that armed robbery will get you put in prison or the morgue. Yes there was a failure here. And from the interview with the cousin, it appears that the failure to be civilized will continue for this family. If this was indeed a good kid, then I hope I never run across any of the bad ones. Maybe they would have come in shooting for the sake of a few dollars.. This is what thug left leads to.
