how do we know the call didn't come from a group of people who tried to break into her home and she defended herself and the trigger finger happy pigs came looking for a fight, saw her with her gun, started screaming 3 separate orders (from 3 cops at the scene) and she thought she was being attacked.

more than likely, thats it. if you defend your home/property from a robbery from a gun, and the amount of media hysteria about guns, the robbers can easily call you in as just brandishing a weapon in public. the SWAT team will come ready to shoot first, sweep up the story later.

Have you noticed, there is no discernment at all with the police anymore. It goes straight from beginning to dead in no time at all now. They have no decision making skills. Everyone has a weapon, is a weapon, could be a weapon, no thinking at all in police work anymore it seems.
