Lots of climate change stories to.go with the events. We have to learn to live in our new environment. Sci fi movies come to life? Or have they been warnings all along. Worried about next winter. Start putting up food and wood now. Make sure you have a wood stove or better yet cob stone wood stove.

Yes. The movies have been giving us some subconscious
"warnings" all along...and I just thought I was
having a "time-out" to be entertained. Seems that
nothing is wasted by TPTB--wonder if there had NOT
been disaster movies like the "Twister" and the
"Perfect Storm" (not to leave out "Armageddon"
and "Deep Impact" ) if there would not have been more
people "losin-it" when these things actually happen.

Trick is...it is O.K. TO BE SCARED (that's a natural
autonomic body reaction and will pass)...but being
HORRIFIED is a damaging psychological reaction that
may actually harm the mind. GLP memeber "Abhie"
made the following bumper sticker to emphasize this
point. Seems that all the "fear-mongering" on GLP
may actually help some people "cope" with unexpected
natural disasters!

I think it should be about how to conserve energy not use more! You should be looking into energy efficient products like better wood stoves, more insulation in the home, and becoming self sufficient.

To many people complain the the Government is not helping fast enough after a disaster!!

Dont rely on the government helping you at all if some thing big happens

Suspicious Observers Intro video

I'm NOT sure...but I am guessing that your campaign
is based on the "human-caused" "Global Warming model."
And while your efforts are greatly appreciated by
anyone--like myself--who is greatly concerned about
the human and animal casualties currently being seen
with the up-tick in "earth changes"--you need to be
sure you are representing the correct and CURRENT
SCIENCE that is out there now.

Global warming has been proven to be a huge lie,
an international campaign to raise tax dollars on
skewed-data and just something you do NOT want to
promote with your campaign!!

And...
probably billions globally--a total waste of money
as it is resting on totally biased data.

Current "alternative weather-science" thinking
now--and you can research this for yourself
as it is just within the last 12 months or so with
"Suspicious Observer" (link is on INtro page)...is
that there is a GLOBAL MINI-ICE AGE coming with
extreme heat in summers and extreme cold in winters.
The whole Global climate change deal has been turned
on its ear. In fact, all the hype about the
north and south pole MELTING IS FICTION. The
Arctic ice pack has been increasing for years--
but you have to have the correct data to know this!!
THEY ARE SKEWING THE DATA to support global warming.

So...just a heads-up for you, Dorsi (and this is NOT
to take away from your heroic efforts in this field--
just be sure you have the correct CURRENT INFO on
the global climate changes or you'll have trouble
down the line with it!)
A really excellent place to start is at the
"Suspicious Observer" UTUBE channel. Watch some
of his latest videos of the weather convention he
attended and spoke himself at before you make up
your mind.
I would definitely support this campaign IF IT
WERE ABOUT THE CURRENT EARTH SCIENCES and not the
LIE coming out of the Al Gore camp! It's NOT
"Global warming" anymore...Let me know and I
will definitely be "on-board" as not enough
people are getting proactive about what's ahead!

Last night in Abilene hail and 80mph winds , what I have noticed is . storm are just popping up little warning , we have knowledge of the system or front but tiny super cells pop up every where , thanks for post

Thanks, I'll take a look, I have been the Green Living/Climate Change reporter at the SF Examiner for over 6 years, been studying about it for 10 years and talk to scientists and professors that teach about it and also am very involved in educating people about methane, especially the methane that is now coming out in record high amounts from under the Arctic ocean area...methane is one of my most important research subjects, and I talk to groups that are educating and working on this daily. It's the methane we really need to be concerned about.

I've attended the last 2 AGU conferences in SF where over 10,000 scientists gather from all over the world, and I have been closely watching the Arctic report card. I have also inadvertently heard info I was not even supposed to hear, and believe me, we are in a crisis situation right now, we need to be more concerned about the changes happening in the Arctic RIGHT NOW. Methane is the key....

You know that giving people a "heads-up" about
severe weather isn't a competition, right?
I've been running back-to-back threads on severe
weather forecasts since the 29th of April--
that was 9 days before this current round of
storms began, so...don't get your panties in a
bunch that you've been trumped! It's NOT about
credit and karma on GLP--it is about community
spirit to help each other stay safe.
I removed your other thread. Let's get things
in perspective--this is serious climate shift
material and the more threads on it the better!

of this...but it isn't looking too good.
Doesn't it seem amazing to you guys all the traffic
that is just driving along like nothing is happening
here? Incredible!

ALSO: JUST A SAFETY WORD! Please do NOT consider
"sheltering" in a car, an RV or a mobile home during
some of these stronger tornados. The media does not
put videos like this one up for general consumption
due to their graphic nature. However, if you have a
strong stomach, it is probably a good idea to be
familiar with WHAT A TORNADO CAN DO. This was from
last week's storms.

These powerful F-3's and up are capable of scooping a
GROUP OF CARS and RVs and just rolling them into a
ball. When first viewed, one would think that this mass
of tangled metal and crashed cars was pushed together
by a huge bull-dozer. Unfortunately for those who were
stuck in traffic trying to escape the tornado, the pile
of debris is filmed right after the "event." This isn't
where you want to be in a car, folks!

I am not competing...I was just posting my thread about how the haarp status network predicted extreme weather 5 days in advance...maybe I should have been a little clearer.

Thank you Silently, I am just doing my part, teaching the kids and educating families about the changes to come....

It's all good. Keep posting about the weather and
earth changes--not enough coverage on GLP for some
reason! Lots and lots of threads compete for the
viewers and we can't take it personally if they don't
respond to what is actually a fine thread (as yours
definitely was--great pics!)
Guess I was just reacting to a past experience where
someone got irate when I posted a thread on the same
topic but got more viewership. Like I said...you just
don't know what people will respond to anymore!

Great thread!!! Had a pretty rough night here in Louisiana last night. Luckily no tornado.

Sure can understand that! The weather reports are saying
this puppy is going to continue on through MONDAY next
week! I just don't get these storms...never saw storms
back in my day that stretched from Mexico all the way
to Canada for god's sake! That is just INSANE!!
