Did your father beat you because he loved you? Do you love him for it?

My dad didn't just spank me - he beat the shit out of me. I never understood how he could be so cruel. I was just a little tiny girl. He would leave me covered in bruises and welts. He even threw me down two flights of stairs.


I always vowed I would never abuse my kids and I never did. My kids did get a few spankings on the butt. But I never beat the snot out of them like my dad did to me.

It would have been helpful had the title been truer to your intentions. Had it said something like

"god is a jerk", "gob blah blah", "i hate god" etc. then you probably would have had more useful replies as to your intention.

Instead you pulled the old bait and switch which no one really cares for and unfortunately it undermines you because it communicates that you are disingenuous at best, dishonest at worst, and/or you admit your idea can't stand on its own merits without using deceit to try to communicate your idea.

All I can say OP, is that you should have named your thread better.

I mean come on, what did you expect with that title?

Then spit it out OP!

The thread should have been title somthing like "I'm a punk ass bitch child of a rebellious house" maybe that would have gotten the point across.

I read your damn thread and I chose to ignore your implications.

I did in all those threads. Spent hours trying. And no one reads anything but the header.
