Not so much. Think of your "energy" like money. There are bad guys who want to steal it via theft. But also "white hat" thieves like insurance, government programs, etc who might actually believe they are helping at some level.. but are profit motivated, not benevolently.

Back to the new age "horseshit" - you don't have to accept that the "entities" or demi urge exist physically. It is more like a thought process template. As long as you believe in something outside yourself as higher than you or worthy of praise, you open the door for them to receive the benefits. Your time, attention, and money now serve their purpose of keeping you in check and subservient. Religion, business, politics, and social status are all exploiters of this principle.

So it may be horseshit, but it's true and effective.

I receive many emails pertaining to some “very near” wonderful or even transcendent event that “we all just have to wait for” according to the authors. Unfortunately, their dates come and go without any physical occurrence. The people who had believed in the message usually sigh in resignation and go back to their daily lives somewhat disappointed, but maybe still hopeful.

Why is there so much inaccurate “noise” out there right now? Precisely because something *transcendent* IS approaching, and more people are feeling its approach than ever. Everywhere you look, someone is going to tell you that they know what is coming and when. Often they are channeling some source who claims to be a “higher being” that you “need to pay attention to.” Sadly, most of these channelers are receiving their information from beings that are NOT who they claim to be.
