>>5/19/2014 CONFIRMED! NASA EXPOSED HIDING GIANT UFO IN SOHO IMAGES | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 58197101 United Kingdom 05/19/2014 05:15 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You see lots of pins everyday but I must say, this is probably the best one I have ever seen. It should get a mega pin! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 55566661 It will never happen when the thread is taken over... By people who really think? Or by people who want a neat story, and will do and say ANYTHING, no matter how crass, to keep bullshit thriving? Frankly, I've already said it. That, and Astro has taken more groin shots than anyone I've met online. Sadly, were he/she (?) to approach a genuine think-tank, he would be received with respect and appreciation. I'm not riding your nuts (?) Astro. I respect you, myself, and anyone who goes against the grain when it is clearly rotting. i used to care enough to be as articulate as you on here. maybe ill rethink the situation. |

Its simply a normal artifact that we...uh..I meant NASA regularly edits out due to bidirectional viewing of multiple professional astronomers like me. NASA is always a step ahead assuring we humans are never in a centrifuge of bioengineering viscosity that are always explained away with a simple and logical super intelligent explanation. NASA is hard at work every day looking out for "our" best interests, while at the same time assuring we remain 100% protected from interstellar projectiles of solidified mass. Move along, nothing to see here. Excellent Dr. Assmasteroid Shillstro parody! |

One click in photoshops bandaid tool would edit that out seamlessly. This is a "glitch" Quoting: Anonymous Coward 56165770 The stars that make up the Pleiades have never looked all spaced out and ordered like that since I've been looking at them and that's going on 48 years tomorrow. I've seen the Pleiades on SOHO images before, and that isn't close. It might not be an alien spaceship, but I don't think it's the Pleiades either. eireann you just replied to the schill lol *facepalm* I do that all the time I'm such a sucker. Eireann~ I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. - Galatians 2:20 |

Quoting: MulvaGippleDelores Is that database still down Astro? Yes, which is why I gave links above to the raw data that I downloaded before it went down. Ya - that's fine - you know people will still not take that for what it is unless they get it right from the horse's mouth LOL.... I *would find it funny if the database comes up and the images are gone LOLOLOL..... |

Again, before processing: [link to h.dropcanvas.com] Post processing: [link to h.dropcanvas.com] I used PixInsight to process it, calibrating against a previous day's image. Since the database of raw data is down, and since London apparently can't access dropcanvas, here's an earlier image for you for calibration: [link to speedy.sh] using gimp 2.8. but i believe 2.9 has been revamped for astronomical purposes, which should produce better images than this. Yeah, that won't really let you process it in the native bit depth, which you absolutely need to do in order to process it correctly. I have 2.8 as well, no idea whether 2.9 can handle high bit depth images properly or not. Astro, did you ever try "Fitswork"? Just a quick processing: [link to p-m-a.org] . :ase26122019: Annular Solar Eclipse - December 26, 2019 - Kannur, Kerala, India |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 58274657 Uruguay 05/20/2014 08:29 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's not edited, it's a glitch, which is why that "block" isn't in the raw data, nor is the "ship" claimed by the youtuber. The only evidence that there was ever a "ship" in the image is the youtuber himself, but the raw data contradicts this. I'm one of the few here who respect you, and I'll say that I agree with you. If they were 'hiding it' with a pixel, the pixel would SOMEWHAT match the color behind it. At least a LITTLE. This would be the equivalent of having your mistress sneak out past your wife with a fake mustache on. I love metaphor. Well if they were blocking something, it should be blocked first and foremost in the raw data as well. Truth is, data dropouts do happen and bits of images get lost, but that isn't even the case here. It's not even that. It's purely a glitch in between the raw image data and the processed JPG available online. Naturally the damn database for raw images goes down right after I say that, making me look like a damn shill since I'm the only one left standing with the raw data from before the database went down. What makes you a shill is that you deny what we all see, but you don't have any evidence to support your claims. Yes, you are definitely a shill. |
