Oh yeah. I could go for that.

I really hope Ben doesn't do that whole freaky raspy voice thing, though. That was just a little weird.

Would you believe that Michael Keaton was my favorite Batman? I know. I'm weird. But I really like him.

Lol, my kids do that for fun. Talk in their graveliest deep voice and say "I am Batman." Michael Keaton was the best Batman, hands down. Are we showing our age?

I actually watched the damn movie the other day, and it made me feel a hundred. Keaton is the best though.

Oh yeah. Showing age :D But then I sit down with my dad and watch the old black and whites and he tells me all of the stories of theater of old and I feel young :) Perspective really is everything :) How about that parallax? I can time travel in a conversation. Now that's cool :D

A wise man once told me that there is no such thing as reality, only perception, so while its fortunate for us that "know thyself" is the first philosophical rule, its unfortunately tragic that the second rule isnt "know, also, someone else....so they might tell you should you be full o shit"

Lol!

In all honesty, though, no wise man told me that, I just made it up.

It does make wonderful sense to me though, and adding a wise man always makes the joke better!

Really though, knowing yourself is a hard journey, but do able.

Knowing how others percieve you......lotsa tricksy-ness to that.

Which is probably why I avoid most people. You never know what kinda craziness you're getting into anymore!

Parallax has nothing to do with bending light. It has to do with how objects at different distances change appearance (relative to each other) when the viewpoint is changed.

I have no idea how this relates to the movie or the character.

^^^^^^^^^this^^^^^^^^
Parallax: it's easier to demonstrate.

two points create a straight line; Your eyes are spaced apart by a few inches.
So
Close your left eye;hold your index finger up in front of your right eye.
sight an object farther away, line it up with the tip of your finger.(note how it looks lined up with your finger.)

now close your right eye and open the left: be careful not to move your finger. Note how the prevously sighted object has"moved" off the tip of your finger. Parallax. the only thing that moved was your vantage point( point of view).
