For Northern Canada, I would rather have a boat version. It would only need the propeller motor on the water and in the air.

In winter time, the hull could be fitted with runners for the ice.

Dune buggy part is kewl, but the flying part is just a powered parachute.
Friend of mine has a 2 seat powered parachute.
Only able to fly it maybe 90 days out of the year.
When Winds hit about 10 kts or more, it's not a good experience.
Need very calm conditions to be enjoyable.

....and the only way it will hit 55 mph in the air, is with a 20 mph tailwind.
