Biggest threat, all the big boys who want to increase their Empires, that's mainly the EU, Russia and China who are all champing at the heels of the USA...
Much the same in all the other big conflicts... empire expand to get more resources and at some point when those empires star rubbing up against each other they start to bump heads.
