The physical gold is for insurance and saving IMO. Although I do sell some at the peaks during a bull market and buy back on the corrections with a plan of net accumulation.
As for trading, I only play bounces from very oversold levels or short from very overbought levels. Easy peasy. I have no desire to gamble.
