Putting company stocks aside for a second (because they can go bankrupt), what tangible item(s) is/are cheaper now than 100 years ago??? Quoting: Punk-A$$ets computers! Computers are a depreciating asset, and becoming cheaper to product over time as technology and manufacturing improve (like the auto industry used to do until unions started driving up labor and pensions ;) ). Yes, that was a very good example.
