Damn. Platinum has gotten the snot beaten out of it since June. Down to just $43 over gold. It was $175 over gold back then.

Yes I'd say people are just giving up on the trade. I think gold was as much as $200 or more expensive above platinum at one point a few years back. I would imagine it happens again with the next slow down.
