Seattle tried a "pilot project" downtown last year. Cameras everywhere already. 20 Million Security Cameras Populate China Under the extremely repressive and violent Chinese Communist Party, the vast country underwent brutal genocides of its own people, again and again. Though that’s all pushed into the woodwork now, the party has installed more than 20 million cameras across the country, according to NPR. China is becoming a surveillance state. In recent years, the government has installed more than 20 million cameras across a country where a decade ago there weren’t many. Today, in Chinese cities, cameras are everywhere: on highways, in public parks, on balconies, in elevators, in taxis, even in the stands at sporting events. - See more at: [link to www.darkgovernment.com] Tell me, what is different in anything but size of existing installations? I tell people, watch China, that's what's coming for us, but they just go right back to sleep. |

The lithium and the fluoride in our water and the BPA in the plastics we use that chemically neuter you are all working quite well to subdue any potential uprising. You say 'you', as if you don't shower in that shit daily and are magically shielded from it. Pretentious fuck. Wat? Go change your fuckin' tampon. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 11954417 People need to stop agreeing with the police. We are the only Country where first responders are " heroes" Not in my book. At best, they are simply doing a job. At best. When your home is on fire, and your loved one trapped inside. It's a VOLUNTEER fire fighter most commonly that puts his life on the line at 3:00 AM to save them. My father went into many houses on nights like that for that very reason, compassion, duty, bravery. shame on you and anyone else who thinks this way. but regardless of your hateful ignorance, they would take the same risks for you. |

Quoting: Too Dark Park Sheriff John Rutherford, Mayor Alvin Brown and Councilwoman Denise Lee made the announcement this Tuesday at a press conference outside of the local Sheriff’s office. The sheriff admitted that many aspects of the program, including the security cameras, would be paid for with money that was taken from victims of the drug war. “We’re going to use the drug money we pull out of this neighborhood to protect this neighborhood,” Rutherford said. In addition to the aspects of the project which are being funded through asset forfeiture, the department is also asking for tax funding of over 3 million dollars for new officers. The stated goal of this program is to decrease violent crime, most of which is related to the drug trade. However, the violence of the drug war is a direct result of prohibition, and the best way to stop that violence is to end prohibition. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 58767225 They are The Law. No trespassing signs do not apply to them. Hell, census workers are down-the-line federal workers. If you put up one of those signs they can still come onto your property (though not IN your house). And not answering the door? Wtf??! No warrant pretty much means they aren't going to knock either! |

What, they're just going to stand there at the door and be all "You got any drugs in here?" ... probably ... police have the same right as anyone else to ask questions a side effect o fthis kind o faction is that it won't take long at all, if this i srepeated, for people to really begin to understand their rights. then will police go beyond asking questions and using tactics intimidation or lying and pretext to get what they want |
