Build by Aliens? - Detailed Deconstruction of the “Face” and Pyramids on Mars

Destruction not deconstruction.

You can just ignore this kind of reasoning completely. There are kinds of instances where an object that has existed for thousands of years was suddenly destroyed. It happens every day.


I am rather suspect about "The Face on Mars" I've seen it shown as so many things.

A Sphinx, a Pregnant lady, a Face, but when you look at the surveyor images it's a hill.

I don't even see potential for it to have been deformed in the last few years as the ground looks pretty undisturbed.

A simple google images search shows you just how much speculation is going on, you can't draw geometry from a 12x12 pixel image from a 1970s camera and expect reliable results.

Just look at this "other face on mars" I think the probability lies in that our cameras suck, we have good imaginations, and Cydonia is not nearly as interesting as we all wish it was.

Therefore, it was made by intelligent being, entity, call it what you want.It denotes INTELIGENCE, not caos and randomness.(even in caos there is order!!!)

What is your interpretation who's face is on that structure?

I'm not saying I believe aliens built Cydonia, but I find it very odd that geophysics could naturally produce all these five sided hills (pyramids) in this area of Mars.

That being said, when I looked at the most clear and detailed photo of "the face" I didn't so much concentrate on the face features, but I did notice this hill has a distinct "U" shape and the left and lower left side looked perfectly smooth, almost as if intelligently and intentionally worked. The rest looked corroded and collapsed. Again, I wondered what natural force could possibly produce a hill with such a shape and such almost perfect smoothness on the left and bottom left.

Put it all together and I'd say if it's all natural that would indeed be very, very odd. If it were found that these were built by intelligent beings long, long ago I'd find it not at all unbelievable.

But, you know what they say..."truth is stranger than fiction".

So, then ET can build ships to cross the vast distances of space, but they are not so good at building structures that stay still on the ground? It falls apart over the course of 50-60 years? Sorta like the aliens in 'signs' who can travel between stars, but their kyptonite is wood? lol

Then, according to vind21 and vod, the most plausible solution is that an advanced race of 'beings' built the face sometime rather recently, to get our attention. Traveling how many billions of miles, but stopping relatively just short of earth, to build a message to us. And then, some cataclysmic event over the 50-60 years on mars caused their message to deteriorate so that we (whom 'they' wanted to contact) would argue whether or not it was a natural occurrence?

Do we not need to assume that these 'aliens' are logical beings? That to assume they would NOT think 'let's stop at the next planet out, build something for them to know they aren't alone' is logical? Am I reaching with this assumption?

Or is a more plausible solution it was an error made by a fairly low resolution camera, fueled by people on earth who are desperately reaching for something to make a miserable life worthwhile?
