According to this article bears & deer killed more people in the 20th century than mountain lions. Bears killed 128 people during that century & mountain lions killed 14. The article says deer kill 100 or more people a year from car accidents. So maybe we should keep the mountain lions around who eat the deer?

And in 2012 there were 38 fatalities from dog attacks in just one year (times 100 years - century - would be 3800). And 14 deaths from mountain lions in a century divided by 100 would be .14 deaths per year compared to 38 deaths per year from man's best friend.

These Cats are suffering from a Canine Disease, which makes them lose the fear of Humans, I already stated this in this thread, but someone felt the need to delete my earlier post.. I'm all for animal rights, but when they become a danger to humans, it's time for humans to manage their populations

Also, most states with cougar populations have a limited number of cougar hunting tags they give out every year.

The populations never get too extreme, like some people would like you to believe.

You can particularly tell that the resources exist to support the current populations by the fact that the cats they are finding are well-fed and in good health.
