I mean wtf. Just like the disappeared plane people text and talk on phones plus GPS. Yet in this day and age when we know NSA (im sure fbi, cia all have their own live feeds) is spying on everyone. NSA has to have a copy of emails right. Come on the fuck on. Everything is on a server somewhere these days. And if FBI can come to your house to seize your PC and has the tech to recover formated data from your hard drive. Us government can recover them emails but won't. Think about it. Evidence of a bigger plan if u ask me. What u think?

Who do you think collects the money that the NSA draw their paychecks from?

In the hearing on the 20th one of the committee members did ask that question. The final response was that a request would be made and the results would be shared with other Committees.
From the way the answer was stated he wouldn't answer this committee but would additional committees.

Sorry I don't have a link it was CSPAN live. But it was in the last hour to two hours of that part of the hearing if anyone wants to look it up.

The government (SEC) requires financial firms to archive emails for 7 years. Yet no such requirement within the government? That is what is ridiculous.
