I'll bet he would say this world is a dual natured world which goes through cycles of more light than dark/more dark than light and it will always be so. He would remind us that our time here should be spent concentrating on our inner world, or reality, as this outer world is only the illusion and while we must live in it and fulfill our karmic duties to loved ones and society, we should not get caught up in the passing show. But then, I can't speak for my Beloved Guru. |

Any Guru worth a grain of salt will tell you they are only there to encourage and help you realize that the absolute truth is within yourself, but they can't show you the truth, you have to discover it for yourself. Stay away from any spiritual teacher that claims to show people the truth. Graduation time is always NOW. Grace is a wonderful thing, but quite rare. I've found surrender to be quite effective when grace is nowhere to be found. We are always moving into new situations. Every thought, every movement, every gesture is your prayer. If you believe that it is the end of death, the end of time, and a great awakening is taking place, then that is what you will attract. We really do create our own reality. What if you woke up every morning and said, "Look at all the wonderful possibilities this day holds!" and gave up on the pity parties. :-) "I'll try," some may say. No, better yet: "I am doing it NOW!" WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO! Fuckin' A I say! |
