Now they are saying if you are coming into the US from a foreign airport and you are carrying a device that doesn't power up you have to leave it behind and/or you will be subjected to 'additional screening.'

Now I understand that these devices may be explosives or detonation devices or something, I understand the reasoning, but this is getting extreme.

They have admitted that the devices they are searching for can be so tiny that they could be sewn into seams or even be put under people's SKIN.

So what are they really accomplishing with these screening protocols?

Nothing, aside from harassing people.

I mean, are they really going to FIND these devices?

Fuck no - they couldn't even find a PLANE, remember?

This is nothing more than another way they are getting people accustomed to having no personal privacy.
