I saw the seismographs after the fact when MT. Pinatubo erupted, I was there, and it looked just like this. Shit is going south fast. North, if you want to get technical. As in LAVA moving to the surface. If you are getting ash fallout afterwards, put a set of nylons over your vehicles intake filter and change them every 20-30 minutes to keep your rig running to get the hell out. That is what we did with the Hummers in the Philippine's in September 91. Radio's will not work and all the power will go out because the ash is so conductive. So be prepared with water sources and lots of batteries. It will block out the sun for a week or so. Just the PI was pitch black for over 48 hours in Subic Bay, I helped evacuate Clark AFB after getting back in from a jungle patrol. SEmper Fi, and watch your asses if you are near it like I am. The winds are supposed to carry the ash east.
