The damn thing stretches for hundreds of square miles, it makes sense that there are different events happening all over the park. Does it not? It's many super volcanoes in a rim if you will in all surrounding states to Yellowstone. That's why they are having stuff happen everywhere at once. The ground is rock in do places dirt in others it's a different geology so it's happening different. This event is bigger then most people realize
