If we made the inside of our homes out of solar panels, then we can recycle the light...

Cant help but notice how my solar cell creates 5-8 volts while sitting under a torchier lamp, so i imagined making a room our of solar panels and see just how much light you can keep recycling, wonder how long you could recycle the same lumen til it dissipates ?
At least we wouldnt be wasting light like we all have been for millenias...
