Michael Sulsona of Staten Island, New York, has not led an easy life. The former Marine lost both of his legs in the Vietnam War when he was 20 years old, according to WABC. Sulsona has since used a wheelchair.

Five stars, OP. This story is important in so many ways!

First, it shows that there are still VERY good people out there who do care about their fellow man.

Second, it highlights once again the deplorable and disgusting fact that many veterans are NOT getting the help they need in a timely manner.

Third, it points out the fact that long after a war is "over", the effects and misery of it still linger on for many.

4th, it shows how many modern Lowe's employees it takes to fix something. I remember when the depot and lowes were nothing but mechanically inclined people who knew where everything was and how to use those tools-hardware.
