Wha??? HOLD UP! Dude at Walmart checkout chats me up about food prepping

Ok….I am at my local Wally World ……

check out guy asks me, "Ma'am is there anything before you leave my store today that you might need?"

I say, "no, I believe I have what I came for and more. Seems you can never get out of Walmart without spending $100.

Check out guy: I see you have Oscar Mayer Cheese Hot Dogs, do you have enough ketchup at home?

I say: I believe I have enough for those hot dogs

Check out guy says: You know, ketchup is a great food prepping item to always have on hand. It full of sugar and vitamin blah blah and it last forever almost!

I say: No, I did not know that. I will have to look into that next visit.

Check out guy says: You know, canned vegetables are also something you should always have a large stash of.

I say: Well, that is good information.

Ok, while this conversation is going on….in my mind I am saying…what does this guy know? Why is he even bringing up prepping to me? I promise I said NOTHING of being a person who likes to stock up.
