WINDOW ROCK, Ariz. — The Navajo Nation council blocked the proposed in situ uranium recovery project on their second day of the summer session. Council Delegate Leonard Tsosie, the main sponsor of the bill said there was never going to be any physical transporting of uranium in the agreement.
