Her and her husband moved there about three years ago now when the job market collapsed. He had a connection in his field of work and so they saw it as an opportunity to travel, learn another culture and way of life. She called me today. Poor girl is miserable. Began feeling the symptoms about two days ago. She also has a 10 month old baby, my grandbaby. I'm hoping and praying the baby doesn't also get it. I don't think a baby could understand that much pain:( I'm going to check in on her tomorrow and see how she's doing. Quoting: Lady Wolf I'd never even heard of this virus until she called me about it. I had to do my research and educate myself about it. Sure hope it doesn't last long. At lease she is young, mid 20's and has a very low chance of any lasting effects to her joints. Anyway...posting this to see if anyone here on glp has had this virus and if they have any advice for me to give to her? She is already taking IBP for the pain. No. I don't know anything about that, but I send my prayers to them. Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. Whatever feels good to your soul, do that. |
