EMP is such a bullshit threat. My friend and I once used a Van De Graaf generator he had to zap the shit out of a computer in various places and it kept running just fine. Modern electronics are not that fragile to a little bit of electricity in the air. Just scaremongering to keep up people's tolerance for ever more bullshit.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 57577161

A Van De Graaf doesn't put out an electromagnetic pulse, it only creates static electricity. You used an absolutely idiotic example.

1981 - USCG Governors Is. "Brick Village" senior enlisted housing. Located next to the steel backstop for the many softball fields, a "super-bolt" from a thunderstorm blew apart one of the backstops. Also about every piece of electronics PLUGGED IN OR NOT PLUGGED INTO ANYTHING (like mine was) on most of the island was destroyed by the EMP. I worked at ETA school about 1/8 mile away on island and a lot of ET school trainers in the classrooms were destroyed.

What is the best way to keep the markets propped up at their current heights if a crash or massive sell was about to take place?

Does the market move if trading is stopped?

Can someone suggest a comprehensive list of preparatory actions to minimize the damage from EMP blast?

First few things that come to my mind are

Have some food stored:
1. Freeze Dried Food
2. Water
3. First Aid Kits
4. Remove money from bank (it will all crash right?)
5. Toilet Paper

Add to the list?

Whoa, that vid's a real eye-opener. Now I'm worried that a false-flag EMP attack is closer than we imagined. I wonder how that plane shields itself from blowback. I suppose the directed-energy beam is very tightly focussed. If so, I don't believe the effects would be as widespread and calamitous as the nuclear variety. It could very easily take out all of the IRS's files and emails though, LOL.

My friend was an Electro Countermeasures Officer in the US NAVY years ago, YEARS ago, like 91 - he told me one EA-6B Prowler could jam/take out the whole grid of the city of Seattle. Like I said that was a very long time ago, I can only imagine now.

The NSA's Utah Data Center located in Bluffdale, UT has had 10 cosecutive meltdowns, electrical blackouts, machinery failures, fiery explosions and circuit failures in trying to get their units to work in spying on the public with its massive recording of Joe Public's emails, phone calls and tv-viewing preferences. The last meltdown was recorded by the WSJ on 9/25/13, after this date the continuing failures were not made public. So, there is now a history of the boy scout who cannot build his own campfire to cook weenies and marshmellows. Plus, the center's vast water usage in the dry regions of Utah is not public information, even as the farms and crops there are being compromised. So, if there were a planned EMP or nationwide grid failure, the PTB are playing with their own campfire and it could burn their hands.

The 1944 bretton woods global trade system reached maximum potential inflation in 2008 and has been collapsing ever since.

There is something coming to cover it all up...

Basically the lie you believe is truth or the system will begin to collapse and you all will be forced awake from the daydream...and scream for salvation...the system will then begin killing you all back to sleep...until the system breaks down completely....and then you all will die off in mass numbers due to exposure to reality.

The resources have run out to supply the demand by all of you for exponential growth.

One way or the other the population is going to be imploded back to pre 1900 levels...which will solve the resource deficit problem.

The Internet will be shut down.

They have the technology to replace you all...but they do not have the technology to eliminate you all.

 Quoting: The South Park Agenda

If the sun shoots a CME (Coronal Mass ejection) we have anywhere from 2 to 4 days before it reaches the earth so they can't do that. Unless they get all the sites//countries to set up a bogus scenario.

Coronal Mass Ejections (CME)
CMEs are vast clouds of seething gas, charged plasma of low to medium energy particles with imbedded magnetic
field, blasted into interplanetary space from the Sun.
When a CME strikes Earth, the compressed magnetic fields
and plasma in their leading edge smas
h into the geomagnetic field like a battering ram. This causes a world-wide
disturbance of Earth’s magnetic field called a geomagnetic storm. This produces a temporary disturbance of the
Earth’s magnetosphere and an equatorial ring of currents, differential gradient and curvature drift of electrons and
protons in the Near Earth region. A flood of charged particle and electrons in the ionosphere flowed from west to
east, inducing powerful electri
cal currents in the ground that surge thro
ugh natural rock. A pitch battle takes place
between charged particles and magnetic fields that shake the Earth’s magnetic field over a period of several hours or
days. The birthplace of CMEs are often seen to
originate near the site of solar flares.

The severity of a geomagnetic storm depends on the orientation of Earth's magnetic field in relation to the solar
storm magnetic orientation. If the particle cloud has a so
uthward directed magnetic field it will be severe, while if
northward the effects are minimized.
A CME can produce the following affects:
electrostatic spacecraft charging, shif
ting of the Van Allen radiation belt,
spacetrack errors, launch trajectory er
rors, spacecraft payload depl
oyment problems, surveilla
nce radar errors, radio
propagation anomalies, compass ali
gnment errors, electrical power blackou
ts, oil and gas pipeline corrosion,
communication landline & equipment damage, electrical shock
hazard, electrical fires, h
eart attacks, strokes, and
workplace & traffic accidents

Re: WTF? Billionaire Hedge Fund Manager Warns Investors About EMP Attack!
this is what star wars was made for though.

all those star wars lasers are ready to shoot down anything that even looks like an EMP shot. It would be extremely noticable and identifiable, something going straight up like that, it would have to get up 250 miles to create the big EMP, so it would take a good 15 minutes to get that high, harder and slower to climb altitude than go horizontally.

Lasers only need one fraction of a second to hit it, they travel really good at that altitude from satellites, very thin atmosphere.

So nobody would ever risk trying it and not getting away with it, boy would that be a huge mistake.

Russia and China and them may have Super EMP but why would they really wanna wipe everything out they own in the US, it's all just bullshit, they will never have a serious war, it will just be like a board game, the billionaires are not impulsive.
