We have a garden here for the fresh green things, and the rest I get through the internet (seeds, nuts, raw coconutoil, chia, raw cacaobeans etc.). When we go to a restaurant, even the salad has mostly something uneatable on it.... . |

Affordable locally and ecologically produced groceries available from many outlets. Wild fish still in mainstream stores, if you take the minutes needed to find it. No bloody GMO...so far...they feed it to the cattle and porkers, no..? American food stuffs to be avoided as the plague, I'm afraid. North and South alike. Nothing personal, just the way it is these Monsatano days. |

But on the bright side you'll be getting more insights and guidance from your higher self/soul/spirit than you probably ever imagined. It's no wonder there are tens of thousands who've "gone" breatharian and haven't looked back. My theory is that humans were never supposed to eat. |

We have worshipped other gods and called it multiculturalism. We have endorsed perversion and called it alternative lifestyle. We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery. We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare. We have killed our unborn and called it choice. We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable. We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem. We have abused power and called it politics. We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition. We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression. |

If you can eliminate those you are well on your way to being much healthier and slimmer. The hard part is finding packaged foods that don't have those two items in them. After that, you should try getting rid of dairy too or just have very little. |

I've about beat the grains and probably cut back at least half dairy. Corn syrup is the devil. |

This town happens to be riding the wave of the so called and much debated "Awakening", by the looks of it. No less than 2 small, family business eco-shops/cafés downtown now, where you can satisfy your munchies in non- toxic, righteous ways :) They have become real...umh... dissident networking centers. And there you run into people who long ago thought the preaching and talking done and the time of action come. Loads of good things going on. Lovely summer! |

Quoting: Wordhole Turn that bland healthy stuff into a different experience every time. As a bonus, most spices have some sort of nutritional and medicinal properties. Healthy food taste better to me. The problem is where is the healthy food unless you grow it yourself. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 59910549 United States 07/30/2014 09:32 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Lately for the past 2 or 3 months I have been eating mostly out of my garden. Switched from Beef to Turkey, hardly any breads or cereal, went from a gallon of milk a week to a pint, and been Mtn. biking at least 10 miles a day somewhere...... 63 miles since Saturday. Quoting: sreglof23 Well I've noticed when I go to the grocery store I almost get sick looking at some of the shit on the shelves. No wonder kids are fat and people have so many problems. Good water, fresh clean food, and exercise is the way to go 1. Never drink cow's milk at all, unless it is in the form of ice cream. 2. I purposely eat healthy half the time ( loads of organic vegetables ), so that I can eat burgers, fries, and pizza when I FEEL like it. 3. I'm probably a happier eater than you. |

The problem is where is the healthy food unless you grow it yourself. Quoting: sreglof23 I don't think there is an answer to eating healthy food . . . Even if you grow it yourself, it is likely poisoned with radiation (Fukushima) and/or chemtrails. Knowing that virtually everything you eat or drink is poisoned in some way is very tough to accept, but if you believe otherwise, you are only kidding yourself. My philosophy is simply to do the best you can, but understand that TPTB are quite intent on depopulating the World with their poisons, among other tactics/methods. |
