Looks to me like Atlanta is closer to Liberia. They just flew that shit all the way down the east coast. I hope they didn't dump his waste over us...........man this is fucked up people. Quoting: sreglof23 he went to visit Stephen King Seriously:...I think he died in flight, they deverted to drop the body, regrouped for "Plan B".... the guy in the vid walking into the hospital was not Dr. Kent...IMO that is |

Add a typical margin of safety and that becomes around 3500 miles. Due to the curvature of the earth, and the earth's rotation, the shortest path between two points is never a straight line. It's an arc and sometimes it'll appear to be farther than it really is on a flat map. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 59904660 United States 08/03/2014 08:28 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It is a usual flight path from Africa/Paris. Ive flown as far north as iceland before. But Ive never had to stop in maine before. Usually the plane has enough fuel to get to ATL. Did it leave africa or paris? If africa I dont know, every time ive flown out of africa I went to paris, germany, or amsterdam then to ATL/Detroit/JFK. |

Yeah I don't know that's why I'm asking.....Looks to me like they would want a nonstop flight with a deadly virus instead of flying all over the east coast with Ebola over everyone's head. |

Ok, she flew back what, last Wednesday and is supposed to be in quarantine for 21 days. Nice. Wonder if she flew commercial again? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 44353767 I am willing to bet money that she flew on a private Samaritans purse plane. STILL those poor souls on that plane! Her ass should be back in Africa along with the doctor. Why people think we owe those working in Africa something is beyond me. People in Appalachia need medical care they are living in a third world country in our own country. |

I get a bad feeling about this and I keep thinking about the flags on Brooklyn Bridge. Quoting: sreglof23 I still keep wondering if that really was the doctor walking in the hospital. We could not see his face. He could have been anyone. Why are they turning him into a celebrity? |

I get a bad feeling about this and I keep thinking about the flags on Brooklyn Bridge. Quoting: sreglof23 Given that I live 15 min north of BIA, I too would be curious if anyone got off that plane. Here we go: The crew stepped off the air ambulance to stretch their legs and receive what appears to be supplies, possibly medical. The American on board worked in a Liberian hospital that treated Ebola patients. No one from the plane left the runway. |

Everybody gets off the plane, and all the baggage gets unloaded. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33885889 so they unloaded the bubble? If not....the same bubble will be used for both Ebola patients? Cross contamination....was he in a suit in the bubble? |
