I am not going to read every post to see if this has been mentioned just as I am not going to watch these videos straight through. Here's why:

I was going to give it a chance, settled in to watch. First, red flag when he said something to the effect, I am not going to show many pictures...just want you to concentrate on me speaking the words that are scrolling on the screen.

(This is a learning technique whereby hearing the words and reading at the same time enhances comprehension)

Second red flag I noticed as I was rapidly play/pausing/skipping through was that each concept was repeated at least 3 times in various ways.

(this makes the information "stick" in your memory)

Another thing I noticed, was his selection of music. I know classical music induces a state of focus in the brain for more rapid absorption of info. That is also a technique to utilize to help move what you have learned from short term memory to long term. (so is the slow scrolling text by the way).

That makes me suspicious because had I turned on a video that resonated with me, even if it was fast paced- I would have the option of stopping and rewinding to replay the info I needed longer to absorb thereby giving myself my own repetition to assure its understanding in my mind etc.

Now, for those of you who say -that doesnt prove anything except he is aware that those techniques will help you retain what he is saying.. I say this, someone went through a great deal of trouble to make sure what they were saying would convince me of their point [and in the process made their video three times as long].

I question their motive of trying to skip through normal channels of learning whereby the person gets to consciously decide if the information presented is relevant to them.yapping Myself? I turned it off. Take away my choice, I take away your voice. peace
