As the seed of Abraham, Jesus recreated Israel into a spiritual nation of born again believers. This amazing act fulfilled the prophesy of Jeremiah ..."the vessel was marred in HIS hands..so HE remade THE vessel."--the vessel in these scriptures is Israel.

Gentiles were grafted to the tree of born-again Jews..not carnal Jews. The idea of a future repentance of carnal Jews will never happened for Christ hath said "It is finished" and "I have lost none". Paul explained the reality that circumcism was of the heart..that a Jew is one inwardly. As for carnal Israel, he said "since you have rejected salvation, lo, we turn to the gentiles"
