You want the prince to be the prince and the priest to be the priest when it only fits your belief of who is who and which is which . You cannot have it both ways waterman. NASI either means prince, governor, king, ruler (royal positions,) or it doesn't, but never a priestly title does it entangle in its meaning.
You cannot make-up the story as it goes along for your convenience . And biblical scholars, theologians, teachers, and Rabbis agree it is only mentioning a singular prince of/in Israel preforming his duties in (Ezek.40-48KJV,) not two different individual (a priest and a prince.)
Symbolic Joseph will have consanguinity brothers whom are separate from him in several areas. He is hidden and cannot be seen by anyone. Enoch is greater in standing than Elijah, and he was first translated and hidden. He (Enoch) symbolizes the elect one, the hidden one, the son of man, the chosen one, and the righteous one. These are not other names for Elijah! So stop pushing those things that are not verifiable. But an assumption conjured up by a man whose ambition is is only self glorification. Wake up and smell the coffee.
Certainly David is one of the two anointed and being he is of the line of Judah to be king he is one of the 12 princes of Israel....but lets not forget there are two anointed and 12 princes of Israel and Joseph also is a prince

a prince among them; I, the LORD, have spoken.
These are those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and
the princes of Israel, being twelve men: each one was for the house of his fathers.
So if
David is a prince and
Joseph is a prince how in the world are we going to know which prince is being spoke about? Super simple if it is speaking about
kingly/government matters it is speaking about David....if it is speaking about
priestly duties it is speaking about the other anointed Joseph...very very simple to see unless you don't want to see it....lol
God doesn't bring two anointed on the world stage doing all the same things...dying together raising together after they die and just have one of the two disappear and you never hear from the second one again...there is no logic in that and God is logical....so the conclusion is Joseph is hidden in the scriptures in ezekiel even from david but if you understand that
Davids position is(earthly king/civil leader) and you understand that
Josephs position is (earthly high priest and interpreter of the law david presents and the promises given to Joshua the high priest in zechariah) then you can read the scriptures very clear on who is who...lol
This is clearly Joseph and not David because he is doing the high priest duties and a king cant do high priest duties in a davidic levitic kingdom that is in effect during the millennium:
Ezekiel 46:

the prince shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate without, and shall stand by the post of the gate, and the priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate: then he shall go forth; but the gate shall not be shut until the evening.
3 Likewise the people of the land shall worship at the door of this gate before the Lord in the sabbaths and in the new moons.
4 And the burnt offering that the prince shall offer unto the Lord in the sabbath day shall be six lambs without blemish, and a ram without blemish.

nasi/prince simply means exalted one and of course the high priest Joseph is an exalted one...lol
