Once the age of grace ends the age of law will be reinstated and animal sacrifice is part of that dispensation....also it gives the earthly high priest dominion on earth fulfilling the genesis 1:28 covenant. Ezekiel 40+ is the sort of thing they COULD have merited pre-Messiah, if they sorted themselves. They didn't and had to see the measurements and allotments and be ashamed. The earthly Levitical system is done and gone. Good riddance.
