My name is P-Dub. No, I am not the Christian Rapper who also goes by that name. I am the Author of “From Pauper to Pastor” the story of Pastor Jeremiah Steepek that went viral on Facebook on July 22nd. I wrote the story to express how I was feeling after visiting some churches in my hometown of San Jose, California. Many times I went to these big churches broken hearted, feeling lonely, depressed and searching for God. Sadly, every time I would walk out of the church, I felt worse then when I walked in. No one greeted me. I would smile at people and they would look down or away. I would try to approach people but felt out of place. I just ended up sitting in the very back of the church just hoping someone would reach out, but no one ever did. Everyone seemed to have their own cliques and I wasn’t part of them. I finally gave up and started to just fellowship with God on my own. SNIP..

I am putting the story back up for it to be used by God as he wishes. I want to apologize to anyone I offended by not putting up it was just a story, however as I explained, I never expected it to go viral and didn’t feel it was necessary.

Please feel free to share it, post it, copy it or whatever the Lord leads you to do with it. It is my sincerest hope that it touches many people, especially Pastors and helps them change the way the church treats strangers.

O'really, they do? Well they didn't treat him too nice, did they?

Deceiver? come now. This was an in your face, brilliant thing he did. Rather than talk people about a the message and reach some over time, his actions were a far more powerful message that reached everyone in one fell swoop.

Anyone offended by what he did should probably look at themselves a bit closer.

Protestants who adhere to Calvinist teachings would say the homeless man was predestined by God to be homeless, and he was not going to heaven when he died, and there was nothing he could do about it, it's preordained. Catholics, Lutherans and others would object to this idea of predestination.What are the teachings and ideology of this I assume Protestant or evangelical pentecostal church?

This is real story..the one listed for this thread, is NOT. I found the story about it..it was a person who was upset with the way the church/members treated him. In other article's I came across, it said there were stories out there like this one, that were true, unlike the pastor steepek story in this thread.
