99% of church goers dont do what they preach!

hypocrisy in the churchs is out of this world!

Now just imagine all the people that
Christ will not know in that time.

If i had been in that congregation i would have stood up and said that 99% of the poor support Obama. The poor, by voting for whoever promises to steal the most from others for them, do not deserve pity, only contempt. They will, if they have their way, bring communism to this country, destroy this church and the future of all our children.

The above verses were written by James, the brother of Jesus and the head of the first Christian Church in Jerusalem....The good books says it folks...The poor have been chosen to enter the kingdom of heaven!!

Showgirls post about the Pastor that dressed up as a homeless person was a powerful acting out of Scripture by the Pastor and I applaud it.

I too am a minister and have always been a volunteer so as not to burden the church with my needs.

"Woe to the Rich for you have aleady received your consolation."

"It is easier for a camel to fit through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter heaven."

"If you want to be perfect, sell all you have and come follow me."

"No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.

"Whatever you do to the least among you, you have done it unto me."

All the above quotes were made by Christ. There are many more...the most important verse about our eternal salvation is in Matthew 25 when Christ said, Unless we feed the hungry clothe the naked and visit those in prison, we shall not enter the kindgom of heaven.

The hypocrites of today that subscribe to the postmodern Cultural Christianity of the 21st century live by the new Golden Rule, which says: He who has the Gold rules!

Christ made it crystal clear that in the last times the love of many shall wax cold and therefore the hypocrites that are in love with money and materialism, will continue to hold steadfast the words of another immortal character who said:

"But if he is to die, then let him die and decrease the surplus population."

I applaud showgirls for this wonderful post and know that God will bless her on her exciting journey in this thing we call life.

This story reveals yet another sign of the times we are living in. This Pastor did exactly what Christ would have done. John the Baptist looked like a homeless bum as he walked around with camel coth around his loins and ate locusts and honey.

In today's world, Jesus would be crucified all over again, but not with nails and wood, but with the most vicious weapon of all, the tongue. News Networks would call him a long haired bum who had no money, no home etc. That is how bad our world has become.

Christ said that the only unforgiveable sin was to Blaspheme the Holy Spirit. He said this after He was called a demon by Religous leaders after Jesus performed a miraculous healing.

Those who are called to follow God are indeed persecuted the most. Yes, many do disappoint and even fail God becaause they lose thier way. This is why we place our trust in God alone.

The Pastor in this story that dressed up as a homeless man no doubt lost many church members...what does this tell us? It tells us that unless Pastors preach from the pews and tell people what they want to hear and not what they need to hear, will be cast aside.

The Apostle Paul said that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against Spiritual wickedness in high places. Many pastors are widows or single and live alone. They have feelings just like anyone else. They spend thier time helping others and yet few ever think that maybe the Pastor might need someone to talk to, to give him a hug and make him feel wanted.

So I commend highly what this Pastor did and I urge everyone to remember that as we draw closer to the end times, the Bible says that because iniquity shall abound the love of many will wax cold. The next time you see your Pastor, remember that he is also a human being and has the same needs that you do. Do not be like the evil hypocrites that use Godly leaders only to spit them out when they are no longer needed in your life.

the churches in San Francisco sit empty every night when there are homeless people all over San Francisco sleeping in the cold and wet. there are metal fences covering the entrances.

i've lived in 33 cities roughly in 9 years. it's the same in most towns and cities. the preacher preaches but the churches do absolutely nothing to help the homeless. they sit empty at night

in my experience churches are useless organizations. most people talk the talk but don't walk the talk.
