A novel: Western Alliance vs Eastern Alliance

Scenario painted as follows:

The sanctions do not work but only escalate the tensions between two superpowers. No GMO product is allowed to be imported into Eastern Alliance. This is followed by flights ban into Eastern Alliance from Western Alliance. A naval vessel is attacked in international waters. A conflict arises and spreads around the globe instantly.

One alliance gains the upper hand but gets defeated by a third front in the east. The third front sets up a nation governed by supreme principles and morals.

No one dares to confront them. They spread their power though diplomacy of peace deals around the globe.

Should I go ahead and write this up into a novel?
