Sad but true
The word rapture is nowhere in the bible
We are all here to face the painful end

Besides other than children, no one deserves a jail free card.
We are all born of the filth of sin

We can't even tell what is evil anymore.
No Christian is pure
We hold a device in our hands that allows us to commit the worse of sins in seconds.
With a cell phone, one can view porn in instant.

Adultery one of the worse, and we don't even realize the evil committed everytime we do such.

Also, the bible doesn't mention an age of accountability. Christians made that up because they can't accept that their bible talks about babies being born inherently evil. Most just accept what they are told and never look it up for themselves. I was unaware rapture wasn't mentioned in the bible, thanks for sharing.

Even the hints indicate the "raptured" have to be male bearded virgins, so not many will qualify.

Rapture: The word rapture is from the LatinRaptus meaning the state or experience of being carried away. The Greek word, aJrpavzw, Harpazo, means catch (away, up), pluck, pull, take (by force) is found in I Thessalonians 4:17 in relation to those who are saved by believing in Jesus.

“17Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together” I Thes. 4:17

Jesus never said "I am God" either yet Christians choose to interpret it that way.

It's all in how you choose to interpret it OP.

I'm not even going to bother explaining this to you. You and those agreeing with you are obviously ignorant fools. People like you who write this drivel will find out on the other side where the verse from Hosea 4:6 will reverberate in your head for all of eternity between your screams and gnashing of teeth.

Every misinterpretation you willfully relied on will haunt you forever.

Rapturo, Harpazo from the Greek.

It translates into snatched away, pulled away forcefully.

Also, the falling away it talks about in Thessalonians translated from the Greek text means to be removed, and that is before the man of lawlessness can be revealed.

Paul taught a pre Trib Rapture, the Catholic Church spiritualized the entire Bible and then suppressed it from the public for centuries.

Re: The Bible never ever says the word "rapture". it's new age Christian wishful thinking
"Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord." (1 Thessalonians 4:17)

"...in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed." (1 Corinthians 15:52)

You are correct that the Bible does not use the terminology, but passages like these are where we get the idea that this will happen and we just use the phrase to indicate the prescribed action, which came from the Latin word raptus ("a carrying off").

I don't profess that I know exactly what will happen or when and I don't sit around thinking about it all the time. However, I do have faith that there is something to it and I look forward to it.

If the rapture were post trib, then who would be left to repopulate the earth for/during the millennial reign?

True. Its spread came from Zionist agent, con man, and felon Cyrus Scofield, the creator of the study bible that has basically become the dogma for most idiotic American protestrash.

But really, those who take anything in eschatology literally are too materially minded. The entire bible can be read as either exoterically or esoterically, with the esoteric being the "truer" teaching.

Re: The Bible never ever says the word "rapture". it's new age Christian wishful thinking
The Septuagint (earliest known version of scriptures) does use the greek word for Rapture. The word was chanced when the King James translation was done. But even the KJV makes it quite clear that some will “be counted worthy to escape the coming wrath of GOD the Creator as it is poured out upon the earth in the last days…”

The scriptures also tell us that those will be caught up into the Air With Jesus and their bodies will be changed in the twinkling of an eye from our mortal body of flesh to something new and very different. Most biblical scholars think the new bodies will be like the body Jesus had after he arose from the Grave and conquered death once and for all.

No, actually He did. We also get it from other passages that lead to the same conclusion.

7 If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.” 8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” 9 Jesus *said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip?
