I saw Shepherd Smith today. I did not record it, but I did hear him say it.

I think it was on CNN I saw them showing the bombing of a rocket launcher and a convoy of trucks.

They didn't actually show a video of the events but had a couple cartoon-like animations.

It was a double run on both targets. On the rocket launcher the made a point of saying they bombed the launcher and then came back a little while later and bombed the launcher again and got the guys that were operating it.

Kinda weird cuz if they hit the launcher the first time it seems like the operating crew wouldn't have run back to the bombed out installation but this is what CNN said.

I also thought it was kinda strange that theyhit the truck convey twice.

They were using laser-guided bombs (according to CNN) so If they hit everything the first time why did they have to drop a second round on both targets?

And why show this animations rather than real videos like they used to do in the WMD bombings a few years back.

They also dropped relief supplies to the "refugees" on the mountaintop but only had enough for 8000 people. Apparently there were 30,000 people on the top of the mountain without food or water. (according to CNN)
(They did show a couple of hundred but 30,000 people on a mountaintop is sorta a stretch to believe)

But they think that some of the pallets didn't hit the target of the mountaintop and the implication was they could have fallen into the hands of the enemy.

Apparently they don't have laser-guided relief pallets only bombs.

IDK, the reporting is so phoney I can't believe anything they say.

So maybe Fox is or is not reporting the truth but I'm pretty sure that CNN is feeding us BS every minute of every day.

Shep has lost all credibility in the last few years. First it began with his hatred of the Right and his failure to fully vet this so-called president.

Then, he hobnobbed with Obama during the Correspondent's Luncheon(s) with Rachel Maddow, etc. Watch YouTube videos where he goes on and on about the lunch. (Any decent news person would refuse to go to a lunch like that--that's not the job of someone who reports the news.)

Here's the actual quote:

Basically, he was saying this is a Pentagon statement and Fox News hasn't confirmed it yet.

Actually, this didn't look quite as controversial as stated here. Neither Fox News nor - apparently - any other media had crews on site, so he was just acknowledging that the info came straight from the government. I would have been more alarmed if he had said, "Our military did this-and-that, if you want to believe it - this from government sources". Pretty ambiguous at this point.

So when you report stuff as fact especially in a place like this, its probably best to verify the actual quote. Otherwise everything on this site is false. The context of this is extremely unsettling. I believe this is just an official statement that he is reporting from the pentagon. However news sources reporting what the government tells them to report is very scary. I commend him for making the comment that he made although I don't believe this is something that he will really get in trouble for. Verbal reprimand at best.
