Seems to me he was drawing a distinction between the source of information rather than insinuating that the government is forcing them to air what they say.

Not at all surprised. What was surprising is that Shep all but admitted it openly on national TV. If this was in fact what he meant. The jury is still out on the context of his statement.

For the record. When I originally posted this thread. I only had my own memory to go off of, since as I said, I didn't record this. It's not always easy t to remember a quote word for word.
