This is a truly sad story. Not just are those people becoming infected themselves by standing in such close proximity, but the fact they can just pass by a suffering child is horrible. Give that kid some bread and water at least FFS

Quoting: Ashevillian Well, they are doomed if it is airborne. But, things keep changing. Now do they think you can catch it airborne or do they have to touch him? Now, I understand why--in some of those old stories--people would go ahead and let themselves be exposed to a disease because they just could not let loved ones suffer alone even though they knew they were taking a chance. That picture of that little boy--there are not words.
