Could he make his way on to a football field, I'm sure. I'm also sure that any team that picks him up will need to deal with a bunch of distraction. The biggest problem of the NFL will be filling stadiums with a paying crowd when public health problems like anti biotic resistant tuberculosis, super flus, ebola scares, etc. make attending large public events an exercise in stupidity. Add rising street crime and terrorism and I suspect before long stadiums will be half full if not empty. Like large scale anti-biotic dependent factory farming, people fail to realize the anti-biotic dependence of large cities, and further miss the age of anti-biotic is almost over from gross overuse and abuse. We have much larger problems on the horizon than gay rights. |
