Headed for Galveston, the United Kalavyrvta was anchored at least 60 miles off-shore when it vanished from radar screens. The ship's haul fell under legal dispute when Iraq filed a lawsuit in U.S. courts, urging American officials to grab the ship's oil in Galveston because it belongs to Iraq, not the Kurdish National Government.

Yeah we are helping the Kurds. I posted this several days ago but no one really cared.

Maybe they found out that oil tanker carried more than just oil, like an armed nuke, and destroyed it at sea, not telling anyone as to not cause a panic that they could actually get that close to having a major port blown up.Poof!!!explosion

Maybe they just sold the oil to another country in another port? Everyone likes oil.

Or maybe its still there and turned off its tracking so it could move somewhere else without being detected so easily..that is a spooky thought if this ship was booby trapped it could end up in Miami..who knows?

Maybe gas bubbles were emitted from the ocean floor due to all this seismic and volcanic activity across the globe. Enough gas bubbles and any ship will sink like a rock.

The tanker disapearing is merely a cover story. They know damn good and well exactly what happened to that tanker.

Maybe there was just too much money to be made. Multi million dollar tankers carrying multimillion dollar loads of oil don't disappear in an age where satellites can read license plates and the NSA monitors every electronic whisper. "Let's just say we lost it and bring it in somewhere else"

I think the Harry potter invisibility cloak must have been used again.

Maybe the Captain sold the cargo for $10 million and is now sipping margaritas on some fancy beach in Mexico. With his fingers in the butts of $1 a day hot hooker señorita's. And dining on fancy fresh authentic Mexican red snapper. If I was a captain of an oil tanker it's what I'd do.

"It's not unusual for ships to vanish from radar systems when transporting disputed oil. A few days ago, a Kamari ship with Kurdish oil "went dark" near Egypt's Sinai and turned up near Israel two days later, its oil gone."

Wonder what the crew of the Kamari ship has to say about their missing cargo?

No it's not. According to international laws it belongs to Iraq and Kurdish territory has it's share of 17%.

crude oil is in the tanker, its not an explosive so all they could really do is set it on fire and thats not really much of a threat
