YouTube seems to always require a page reload to play via GLP threads.
All started a few weeks back when they began with their problems.
Sometimes I don't even bother.

Thanks, you guys! It's driving me crazy. I open in a new window, but the same message keeps appearing. It's so frustrating. It seems to get worse in the evening, but not really sure because I'm too busy during the business day to really say for sure... don't get as much of an opportunity to check Youtube during the work day, as I do at night.

If the link I provided shows that you do not have the most recent version, I would suggest yes. There is instructions and a link provided at the first link. Follow them and then rerun the verification. It can be cantankerous, and you might have to run the "removal tool" at the link. Than reinstall. Please keep in mind I do not use a mac, And I won't be able to help you if you run into problems. Perhaps MAC customer support can advice you better. Good luck.
