The Schumann is not random now, it has a very specific pattern. I have not seen accurate data for over 10 days now but my body tells me what is going on...so take what you will from what I say...

Our planet and everything on it is being affected by ultra-high energy particles, these particles have been measured to affect earth every 4.8 hours. However, that being said, it is very difficult to pin point ALL the effects this 'cone of radiation' has on our planet because of the interaction with the sun's protons, other cosmic rays and our atmosphere.

These rays are neutrally charged so they do have an effect on DNA and the planet, unlike neutrinos which are positively charged and pass through us with little to no effect.

However, it is my opinion that the system was recalibrated to be less sensitive. When the "events" occur, we no longer see solid white, just small amounts instead.

Bump...for curiosity
I've been monitoring this daily for a few months. I haven't seen anyone able to find historical data.

But more than just that :)

The sun is also closing it's 225 million (approximate) circle around the galaxy...then we (our whole solar system) are on the galactic plane and the more energetic column of the local interstellar cloud...and we are near something the astrophysicists refer to as the local 'funnel'...

And we have the natural cosmic particle accelerator to deal with...

So after an even closer look, it seems to be the 7-8 day range you mentioned with the pulses intensifying every 4.8 hours on those days...

I think the professionals use a different approach where they have two cross polarised magnetic induction detectors for the XY axes and a simpler dipole ULF antenna arranged in the Z axis. These pick up multi spectral EM transmissions so any energetic untuned burst will present itself as a anomaly on the trace.
