My husband brought up marrage on our 3rd date, in a causual, joking sort of way.
I though he was just trying to get some at the time and laughed it off.
Four months later I did marry him.
We've been together for almost 22 years now.

I caught him almost say it on the phone once, it was so instinctual for him as he was saying goodbye; we said it right away the next time we saw each other. :)
