Honestly, I found the whole conversation a bit odd.
If something serious was indeed going down, I highly doubt this Airmen would be in the loop, so to speak. Not high enough up the chain of command to know too much.

I guess what caught my attention the most was the the job detail and duty station.
I didn't mention the duty station for obvious reasons.
